How to measure your head for the right size silk bonnet
Finding the right fit for your silk bonnet is key to making sure it feels comfortable, stays in place overnight, and gives your hair the protection it deserves. Before choosing your size, simply measure your head along the hairline — from your forehead, around the ears, and down to the nape of your neck. You can choose to include or exclude the ears based on personal preference.

How to Choose the Right Silk Bonnet Size
Our LS Silk bonnets come in three sizes — Small to Medium, Medium, and Medium to Large. Each bonnet includes soft elastic at the back (or around the opening), allowing a flexible and secure fit for a wide range of head sizes.
Medium: Measures approximately 52cm relaxed and stretches comfortably up to 56cm. This is our most popular size and suits most head measurements between 52–56cm.
Medium–Large: Measures about 56cm relaxed and stretches up to 60cm. Best for those with head sizes between 56–62cm.
Small–Medium: Measures around 48cm relaxed and stretches up to 52cm, fitting head measurements from 48–52cm. Ideal for petite fits or those who prefer a snugger feel.
Important Exceptions
If you have very long (below the bra strap) or very thick hair — or protective styles such as box braids, locs, or twists — we recommend choosing the Medium–Large size even if your head measurement is under 56cm. Extra room helps your bonnet stay comfortable without flattening your hairstyle.
To get the best fit, we always recommend measuring your head before purchasing. A few seconds with a soft tape measure can make all the difference in comfort and longevity. Explore our full range of silk bonnets here: LS Silk Hair Bonnets.
